Scope of Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of modular software components
• Development of AI-based logic functions in Python
• Architecture and implementation of agent-based systems
• Interface development for industrial communication (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT)
• GUI design for industrial applications (web/embedded)
• Testing, version control (Git), and technical documentation

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Experience in embedded development and/or GUI development
• Good knowledge of Python (additional C/C++ is an advantage)
• Experience with industrial protocols and interfaces
• Confident use of Git, CI/CD, and agile methods
• Very good German and English skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Know-how in edge computing and AI frameworks
• Experience with agent-based software architectures
• Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems and/or app development

Your Main Responsibilities

• Design and development of AI-based architectures
• Further development of RAG pipelines
• Training of classical machine learning models
• Optimization and integration of AI models
• Creation of benchmark datasets and execution of system tests
• Data preparation, validation, and model fine-tuning in customer-specific AI applications
• Documentation of development results and tests

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a comparable field
• Solid knowledge of Python
• Basic knowledge of Natural Language Processing (tokenization, embeddings, transformer models)
• Experience with data preprocessing
• Basic understanding of software development (Git, Docker)
• Interest in industrial applications and edge AI

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Initial practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Milvus, Weaviate)
• Knowledge of image processing (OpenCV, multimodal models)
• Understanding of industrial standards (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus)
• Experience with agent-based software architectures or condition monitoring
